Well firstly a link is a piece of text that is normally highlighted blue that is clickable within a web page, this means that when you place your cursor over the text it changes from an arrow to a little hand indicating to the user that once you click the mouse you will be redirected to another location. The link can send the user to another part of your site or it can send the user to another website altogether. For example your website may contain three links, HOME PAGE, ABOUT US page, and maybe a NEWS page for example.
