Whoever said “A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words”, was talking about PhotoJournalism. Also called news photography, photojournalism is definitely the most brutal and daunting type of photography there is. News photographers have to reach into the heart of wars, crisis and disaster struck lands to get one shot, that one shot which could make it to the magazine cover…. which could ignite a nationwide debate, which could make a difference.
Today’s post is focused on the deprived children. You know it’s a really terrible sight to see a 9 year old girl greasing trucks all day on a roadside in a roasting temperature of 40°C. She is killing all her dreams, hopes and a better future… and she is doing all this just to get one piece of bread in the evening….. terrible sight indeed. And believe me, it is NOT a rare sight, this is the story of over 4 billion people in the world.
